Under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh Government’s Culture Department, the Akhil Bharatiya Kavi Sammelan at Mahadev Festival was successfully organized at the Shiva Temple Prangan in Bhojpur. This Samaroh, spanning from February 15 to 17, 2026, served as a brilliant platform for Shiv-Shakti themed artistic expressions. The literary highlight of the program was the gathering of prominent poets including Gajendra Solanki (Delhi), Dinesh Bawra (Mumbai), and Poonam Verma (Mathura), who captivated the audience with their verses.
The cultural journey began with Sagar’s local talents and the famous Bhakti singer Lakhbir Singh Lakkha. On February 16, Bhopal’s Aakriti Jain performed a Nritya Natika, followed by a mesmerizing session by Bollywood singer Mahalakshmi Iyer. The final evening was dedicated to the Kavi Sammelan, featuring additional poets like Ruchi Chaturvedi (Agra) and Manu Vaishali (Delhi). The event was open to the public with Pravesh Nishulk (Free Entry), drawing large crowds from the Raisen district and beyond.
