Under the auspices of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, a magnificent Kavi Sammelan was organized during the Hunar Haat festival in Ranchi. This cultural gathering, held at the Harmu Ground, was described as a Mela of masters, blending traditional Indian crafts with a high-profile literary Samaroh. The initiative by the Government of India aimed to provide a platform for both artisans and poets to showcase their heritage to the people of Jharkhand.
The literary evening was headlined by the energetic Shambhu Shikhar and the graceful Padmini Sharma. The roster of performers also included celebrated poets Arun Jaimini, Mahendra Ajnabee, and Chirag Jain. Scheduled for March 3rd at 6:30 PM, the event successfully highlighted the diverse linguistic and artistic traditions of the nation in a formal yet festive environment.
