A grand Kavi Sammelan in Delhi was organized by the Hindi Academy at Central Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001. The Samaroh featured a gathering of India’s most celebrated poets, led by the renowned Waseem Barelvi and the humorous Popular Meerutthi. The event was held on April 27, 2013, and saw a massive turnout of literature enthusiasts. Chief Guest Prof. Kiran Walia and Prof. Ashok Chakradhar presided over the cultural evening.

The distinguished Kavigan list included Munawwar Rana, Rahat Indori, Alok Puranik, Alok Shrivastava, Ajay Dixit, Chirag Jain, Jainendra Kardam, Pawan Aagri, Prabhakiran Jain, Praveen Shukla, Madhumohini Upadhyay, Mahendra Sharma, and Ved Prakash. The program was coordinated by Secretary Dr. Harisuman Bisht. Attendees were advised to follow security protocols at the park, with seating arranged on a first-come, first-served basis.
