MMMUT Gorakhpur is preparing to host the Rashtriya Kavi Sammelan in Gorakhpur on December 20, 2025. Organized at the university’s Multipurpose Hall, this Samaroh commemorates historical figures Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Ram Prasad Bismil. The lineup of celebrated poets includes Sumit Mishra from Orchha and Shivkumar Vyas from Barabanki, alongside talented voices like Rohit Chaudhary, Priyanka Rai, and Mrityunjay Shukla. The event also welcomes Pradeep Deshwal and Dr. Ashok Batra to the stage.

Under the guidance of Registrar Chandra Prakash Priyadarshi, the program brings together Guru Kripa Sansthan and the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal. The evening will be led by Jagdish Mittal and Prof. J.P. Saini, providing a platform for nationalistic and literary discourse starting at 4:30 PM. This gathering aims to celebrate the rich heritage of Indian poetry in the presence of esteemed university leadership and guests.
