Orchestrated to unite poetry lovers from across Central India, the Virat Akhil Bharatiya Kavi Sammelan Stars Sarita Saroj, Vijay Wasad, and a distinguished delegation of creative minds. Hosted under the broader umbrella of the celebrated Itarsi Utsav Mela, this exceptional evening is designed to honor and preserve India’s rich heritage of spoken-word art and classical Ras variations. The invited panel boasts an array of masterful performers representing distinct regional flavors. The upcoming assembly features the melodious and rhythmic compositions of Sarita Saroj (Nagpur), the high-energy patriotic verses of Vijay Wasad (Samastipur, Bihar), the classical stage presence of lyricist Dharmendra Solanki (Bhopal), and the sharp wit of Dinesh Dehati (Balaghat). The evening’s entertainment will be rounded out by fine presentations from Mukesh Sahitya (Timarni) and Sunil Nanha (Katni), altogether guided by the experienced coordination of Brijkishor Patel.
