Literary celebrations reach a magnificent peak this weekend with the announcement of the Akhil Bharatiya Virat Hasya Kavi Sammelan headlined by Govind Rathi and Gaurav Chauhan in Dhamtari. Organized on the momentous occasion of the 39th Sthapna Diwas Samaroh of Prakhar Samachar and Prakhar TV, this national-level gathering is designed to showcase the vibrant heritage of contemporary Hindi literature and satirical poetry to a live audience. The elite gathering will be anchored by Govind Rathi from Shujalpur (M.P.), who serves as both a performing Hasya Kavi and the master of Manch Sanchalan. Joining him is the highly popular Gaurav Chauhan from Etawah (U.P.), widely celebrated for his sharp socio-political parodies and Netaji Lapeta television fame. The diverse poetic lineup includes the intense Veer Ras specialist Vineet Chauhan from Alwar (Rajasthan), the lyrical Shringar and Geet performer Gauri Mishra from Nainital (Uttarakhand), and the versatile Dr. Vandana Shukla representing Prayagraj (U.P.). The stage will further welcome modern humorists Ekagra Sharma from Mumbai (Maharashtra), Chetan Charchit from Indore (M.P.), and Heeramani Vaishnav, who brings localized flavor as a Chhattisgarhi Hasya Kavi from Korba (C.G.). This landmark event will commence on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 8:00 PM onwards. The chosen location for the performance is Shanti Vatika, Old Wisdom School, Sihawa Road, Dhamtari (C.G.).
