A commemorative Kavi Sammelan Masani Tiraha Mathura was held on April 23, 2026, to mark the auspicious 548th Surdas Jayanti. The Samaroh was hosted within the courtyard of the Braj Kala Kendra and Braj Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Mathura. The program was scheduled for a dedicated hour of spiritual recitation from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, drawing a crowd of dedicated Sahitya lovers. The event, presented by the Braj Kala Kendra and Braj Sangeet Vidyapeeth, emphasized the timeless relevance of Surdas Ji’s compositions. Since its inception in 1962, the host institution has been a pioneer in promoting the classical arts. This Kavi Sammelan provided a platform for local voices to celebrate the divine connection between poetry and the cultural roots of Braj.
